Sodexo says it’s easy to use, gives you choices, and can save you money. It also helps companies with tax benefits.
Many people who use Zomato and Sodexo wonder: Can you use Sodexo to pay on Zomato? In this blog post, we’ll try to answer that question by looking at how Zomato handles different ways of paying.

They say using these vouchers and cards is easy, gives you choices, and can help you save money. And for companies that give them to their employees, there are tax benefits.
However, not all online platforms accept Sodexo. For example, on BigBasket, you can use it for certain things but not everything. Acceptance can vary depending on the platform and where you are.
How are Zomato and Sodexo compatible?
Zomato and Sodexo are both linked to food and dining, aiming to make things easy and valuable for their users. However, they don’t work together directly because Zomato doesn’t allow Sodexo as a way to pay for orders.
So, if you have Sodexo vouchers or cards, you can’t use them to pay for food on Zomato. This might disappoint some people who want to use their meal benefits for online orders.

Zomato’s official stance on payment methods does not include Sodexo or any other meal vouchers or cards. The absence of Sodexo as an accepted payment option is evident from Zomato’s website, app, FAQ page, and terms and conditions.
Zomato’s Accepted Payment Methods
According to Zomato’s payment policy, the platform accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Net banking
- Wallets (such as Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, etc.)
- UPI
- Cash on delivery
However, there is no mention of meal vouchers or cards like Sodexo. This lack of inclusion confirms that Zomato does not support Sodexo as a payment option.
Personal Experiment on Zomato’s Payment Options
To check if Zomato accepts Sodexo, we placed an order on Zomato and examined the payment options. We opted to order from Domino’s, a restaurant partnered with Zomato.
After adding a pizza to our cart, we proceeded to the checkout page, where various payment methods were displayed, including Zomato Pay, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets, UPI, and cash on delivery.
However, Sodexo or any other meal vouchers/cards were not listed among the payment options. Below are screenshots showing the available payment methods on Zomato’s app or website:
As you can see, Sodexo was not among the payment options on Zomato, which confirms our earlier findings that Zomato does not accept Sodexo as a payment option.

Based on our findings, it’s clear that Zomato doesn’t allow Sodexo as a payment option for its online food delivery service. This might disappoint users who rely on Sodexo vouchers or cards for their meals.

While it’s unfortunate that Zomato doesn’t accept Sodexo directly, exploring these alternatives can still help you enjoy your meals hassle-free.
